With nearly three decades of experience, he has seen it all and learned from it. We think our patients are incredibly lucky to benefit from his years of experience—especially since he didn’t always call Salem home. He moved to Oregon after marrying his wife, Pam, a native Oregonian. After receiving his DMD from Oregon Health Sciences University and completing his Orthodontics Specialty Residency at the University of Iowa, he decided to make his career as a Salem orthodontist and opened up his own practice—Amborn Orthodontics.
Dr. Amborn and his team are incredibly proud of all of the things he has accomplished as an orthodontist in Salem. However, he also takes great pride in the relationships he has developed within his adopted community. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Amborn is pleased to be a member of the Salem community, where he has been involved in Salem Alliance Church and Bible Study Fellowship for over 25 years. With his wife, Pam, Dr. Amborn raised two sons and is aware of the importance of a strong community as a fundamental part of life. In his free time, Dr. Amborn enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys outdoor activities in and around Salem.
Dr. Amborn regularly attends continuing education classes to stay current with the latest orthodontic techniques, allowing him to produce the highest quality results for his patients. He knows that while his experience is valuable, so is staying current within his field.
